• Choose a photo studio whose actual work and visual style genuinely appeal to you.
• Think about the result you want – for example a photo series, a photo book or wall art.
• If you have questions, use a consultation to get to know the photographer and studio beforehand.
• Make sure you are looked after by an experienced, confident and respectful team.

Preparing for the shoot

Wash your hair the evening before if possible and avoid heavy styling products. A gentle exfoliation and moisturiser the evening before can be useful. Prepare eyebrows, shaving, roots, hands and feet in good time rather than immediately before the shoot.

Black & white and colour

Black and white photography abstracts the image and draws attention to light, form and expression. Colour can be equally distinctive, graceful and poetic. We therefore photograph in colour as a basis and can also create selected black-and-white versions depending on the shoot.
